To further strengthen our culture of safety and accountability, all adult members aged 18 years and over are now required to hold a current Queensland Blue Card or Exemption Card. This includes every Nipper parent or guardian listed on a family membership – at least one parent or guardian must be a member with their children.

As a volunteer organisation, applying for a Blue Card is completely free, and we strongly encourage all members to act promptly to maintain their membership and ensure compliance.

Follow the simple instructions below to link an existing Blue/Exemption Card or apply for a new one.

  1. Register for Blue Card Services online account at https://my.bluecard.qld.gov.au/login

  2. Next, you will receive an email from Blue Card Services with your account number.  Complete this form – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SLSQBCSLink

  3. IMPORTANT – After 24-48 hours, you will receive an email from Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) to confirm you have been linked to the organisation. Now, log back in to your Blue Card Services account to complete and submit your blue card application at https://my.bluecard.qld.gov.au/login
