NIPPERS IS NOT A BABYSITTING SERVICE!
A parent or guardian of all Nippers and Stingrays MUST remain at the Suttons Beach beachfront at all times!
What to Bring
- High-vis pink rashie – NO PINK RASHIE, NO WATER ACTIVITIES!
- Nipper cap (wide-brimmed hats can be worn under Nipper caps for extra sun protection)
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Towel
- Goggles
- Jumper
Times
- Assemble at 8:15am sharp for check-in, announcements and 8:30am start!
- U6 & U7 Green Caps will finish about 10am
- U8 and up age groups finish between 10:30am and 11:00am.
Facilities
- Nipper families will have pin code access to the clubhouse
- Clubhouse includes toilet and hot shower facilities; there are also outdoor shows near the Nipper shed
- The volunteer-run club kiosk is open during Nippers for hot food, cold drinks and ice blocks.
Some rules
- Nippers must be checked in and out by an Age Manager. If your Nipper needs to leave early, please advise their Age Manager so we’re not looking for a missing person!
- Nippers must stay with their Age Manager at ALL times.
- At the end of Nippers, Nippers are not to leave until collected by a parent or guardian.
- A parent or guardian MUST remain on the beachfront at all times! Nippers will have to sit out of activities if it is discovered that their parent or guardian has left the beachfront.
Bad Weather
Niippers will go ahead on rainy days. However, safety is our number one priority. If the rostered Patrol Captain deems conditions unsafe due to weather or beach conditions, Nippers will be cancelled. If Nippers is cancelled, members will receive a SMS notification.
