Reports to: Junior Activities Secretary

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Act as the main contact for parents in the respective age group.
  • Provide weekly updates and news to the group on Sunday mornings.
  • Assist in managing the WhatsApp group following Nipper Community Guidelines.
  • Organise at least one family engagement event per season for the age group.
  • Oversee volunteers for the Canteen and Workforce when rostered.
  • Monitor and address emerging issues related to Juniors.

Knowledge and skills needed:

  • Must be a Nipper parent.
  • Must hold a current Blue Card.
  • Communicate clearly and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Well-organised.
  • Maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.

Please note that this role is not suitable for someone currently serving as an Age Manager or Water Safety.J

You simply need to hold a current QLD Blue Card or Exemption Card and complete a child safety award.

Ensure Membership Status on left-hand side is showing a green tick for Child Safety Award. If it is red, click on the link to complete.
