Become a Water Safety Officer to support our Nippers by completing the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC).
The SRC provides participants with basic skills and knowledge of first aid, rescues, and CPR.
This is the perfect pathway from Junior Activities to patrolling ranks or for parents/guardians who wish to assist with water safety during Nipper programs, sports carnivals or training.
To enrol for this course, you must be:
a financial member of Redcliffe Peninsula SLSC at least 13 years of age on the date of final assessment able to swim 200 metres in five (5) minutes or less, unaided (goggles/mask permitted) in a swimming pool of not less than 25 metres.See Training for information on available and upcoming courses.
