The Junior Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Redcliffe Peninsula SLSC Inc. will be held at the clubhouse, Marine Parade, Redcliffe, on Sunday 26th February 2023 at 11.00am.
The primary purpose of this meeting is to elect the Junior Activities (JA) team roles who will be responsible for the successful running of the 2023-24 season.

Junior Activities Team Nomination Form
Junior Committee roles:
The Junior Activities Chair (JAC) is the principal leader of the Junior Activities club and has the overall responsibility for the administration of the Junior Activities area within the club structure. The JAC provides leadership and direction to the Junior Activities Committee, officers, and Junior members. The JAC is the direct link to the senior club and is a member of the club’s Management Committee.
The Junior Activities Secretary is the key administrative officer of the Junior Activities Committee and is responsible for the coordinating link between the junior members, the club’s Management Committee and outside agencies.
The Junior Activities Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating our team of volunteers for all Junior Activities programs, including Nipper Sundays.
The Water Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the implementation of adequate water safety for all Junior Activities.
Junior Activities Training & Education Officer
The Junior Activities Training & Education Officer is primarily responsible for the management of Junior awards and the maintenance of awards for all persons working with the Junior area (e.g. Water Safety Officers, Age Managers, etc.).
Team Managers (U8-U10 / U11U14)
Responsible for the control and conduct of the competitors at carnivals. Responsible for submitting carnival entry documentation and declarations. Nominates and organises carnival officials and carnival water safety personnel as prescribed in the carnival entry information pack. Organises water safety with the Water Safety Officer. Notifies competitors’ parents and Age Managers of carnival locations and times. Prepares age competitors and teams for their respective events and ensures the competitors are at the marshalling area at the prescribed time for each event. Is assisted by Age Managers and Age Manager Assistants.
Junior Activities Equipment Officer
The Junior Activities Equipment Officer is responsible for the safe keeping, distribution, and maintenance of Junior Activities equipment.
The Junior Activities Uniform Officer is responsible for the ordering; collection; and design of all Junior Activities merchandise – Nipper uniform and club apparel.
